Abstract

Interaction is the most profound concept within the industrial networks approach. From this one concept each and every element of the industrial network approach has emerged as researchers have elaborated on the basis of countless case studies and re-interpreted positivist business research. We consider the nature of interaction in an interactive approach to business networks, so defining interactivity to include a change in meaning around the interaction. Next we elaborate the nature of processes based on interaction and interactive change in a business network context. We conclude with research implications.
