The theoretical framework of the network is applied in a tourism businesscontext. The article examines how to foster and coordinate connectedness amongst differentstakeholders and how to build a network identity in dispersed networks. In the case study, bothstrengthening of the network’s identity and synergetic electronic communication can be seen assteps towards effective and efficient coordination. Narrative interviews, evaluation of web sites andparticipative observation are used as methods for data gathering.
