The paper was published at the 16th IMP-conference in Bath, U.K in 2000.
This paper revisits the ?actors-activities-resources model? (AAR) that forms the basis ofmuch IMP thinking and suggests that it should be extended to incorporate a fourth dimensionof relations and networks, namely that of ideas or schema. A scheme for analysing the role ofideas in networks is proposed and elaborated by applying it to an empirical study.
