Abstract

Autonomous vehicles are expected to have a significant impact in shaping how future transport systems will evolve. Developing possible future vision on this AVs will impact society is necessary if government policy is to influence future transport ecosystem development. The purpose of this paper is to outline a methodological approach for investigating future technological visions that incorporate IMP approaches of how visions can possibly be spread throughout the network. We include a particular focus on cases where power relations between stakeholders influence technology development processes.
