    Lund University School of Economics and Management is one of eight faculties within Lund University. Here, more than 4,000 students and 300 researchers, teachers and other staff are engaged in training and research within economic history, business administration, business law, information systems, economics, statistics, and research policy.

    Lund University School of Economics and Management announces two positions as post doc in Business Administration. The appointments are for two years.



    Subject area

    The holder of the position should be competent and experienced in at least one of the fields of business studies.



    Eligibility and duties

    Scholarly proficiency is the main requirement for employment. The position involves a limited amount of teaching (the equivalent of one course a year and some supervision of Bachelor and Master's Theses).



    Assessment criteria

    To be qualified for employment as post doc, an individual shall have a PhD awarded no more than three years ago (unless the applicant has been on parental leave of leave due to illness).



    For appointment, the candidate must have demonstrated a high degree of research expertise and also shown teaching skills. The application must include a research plan where the applicant presents his/her own ideas for research to be conducted.



    In addition to the above, the following set of criteria will be applied in the assessment of candidates:

    • extensive international experience, including experience of work and study at a non-Swedish institution of higher education;

    • relevance and viability of the research plan;

    • other results and distinctions which attest to the applicant’s ability to do research;

    • ability to engage and inform society at large about research;

    • work-related experience of the research field.



    The evaluation will take the experience, knowledge and other personal qualities into consideration. The applicants’ ability to use their skills and experience to strengthen and supplement existing research and teaching activities within the School of Economics and Management will also be considered.
