Professor WSR in B-to-B Marketing
Applications are invited for one or more positions as Professor with Special Responsibilities (WSR) in B-to-B Marketing at the Department of Entrepreneurship and Relationship Management, University of Southern Denmark with base in Kolding. The positions are vacant from April 2018 or soon after and have a time limit of five years with the possibility of extension.
The Department of Entrepreneurship and Relationship Management (IER) is a dynamic work environment with approx. 70 employees engaged in research and teaching in the fields of design management, entrepreneurship, B2B marketing, supply chain in business networks, and organizational studies.
Within the department, the Professor WSR will be affiliated with the Business-to-Business Marketing and Supply Chain Management Group. The research within the Business-to-Business Marketing area is competitive and collaborative strategies in networks with focus on relationship management, business clusters, business development, design and innovation. Successful applicants have a PhD in Business Administration or affiliated areas and should have made significant contributions to Business-to-Business Marketing and Business-to-Business Innovation theory and demonstrated the ability to publish original research of high quality in top-ranked field journals or general management marketing journals. Cross-disciplinary work is highly appreciated. Furthermore, it is important that the applicant provides evidence of a steady rate of publications, a progression in publications over time, as well as current research activity in the form of recent publications. Experience with research leadership, editorial experience, citations, international networks and other research merits will be taken into account.
Successful applicants are expected to show extensive and excellent pedagogical skills through prior teaching, supervision and development of courses, programs, teaching material, etc. Documentation for knowledge exchange and communication of scientific knowledge to the general public or groups outside academia together with some experience with external funding is also expected of successful applicants.

Application, salary, etc.
Appointment to the position will be in accordance with the salary agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations.

• Certificates/Diplomas (Master and PhD degree)
• Teaching portfolio (please see below)
• Complete list of publications, indicating which publications are most relevant for the position
• Up to 5 of the most relevant publications. Please upload a pdf for each publication.

• A research statement with an outline of the applicants’ future research topics and a presentation of the pipeline of working papers
• Applicants are strongly encouraged to have a google scholar profile open to the public.
All non-Danish documents must be translated into English.
Applicants applying for a Professorship WSR are requested to submit a teaching portfolio with the application as documentation for teaching experience as well as supervision qualifications. Formal application instructions and a guide for the teaching portfolio may be found here.
Applications will be assessed by an assessment committee and the committee will assess whether you are qualified to be a Professorship WSR.
The committee may request additional information, and if so, it is the responsibility of the applicant to provide the necessary material.
When the assessment committee has submitted its report, the applicant will receive the part of the evaluation that concerns him/her. The assessment report will subsequently be forwarded to the Dean who will assemble a hiring committee. The hiring committee will manage and complete the job interviews, should such be conducted. Additionally, the hiring committee determines which candidate will be offered the position.
Applications that are incomplete with regard to the above requirements will not be assessed by the committee.
