    IMP Conference, Doctoral Colloquium,

    1st – 3rd September 2014

    Bordeaux, France

Final date for submission of proposals 28 March 2014!

As always, the aim of the IMP Doctoral Consortium is to create a forum for in-depth, informal discussions between PhD students interested in IMP research and experienced IMP researchers. This year the faculty is represented by Alexandra Waluszewski, Ivan Snehota, Håkan Håkansson, Louise Young, Malena Ingemansson, and Antonella La Rocca, together with a KEDGE team comprising Valérie Barbat and Stephanie Petzhold, and some other specially invited IMP senior researchers.

As per the IMP tradition the Doctoral Consortium starts with one plenary session, where the basic foundation of the IMP research tradition is presented. Doctoral students’ project presentations and discussions follow. Each group comprises approximately four students, with two senior researchers assigned as discussants. Each PhD project will be discussed for approximately one hour. The Doctoral Consortium concludes with an afternoon of plenary sessions on the overall theme ‘Research in the IMP tradition’.

If you, or certain of your PhD students, are interested in participating in the IMP Doctoral Consortium in Bordeaux 2014, please submit a short version (3-5 pages) of your PhD proposal including the following aspects to:

    • Research area

    • Overall research problem

    • Use of theory and methodology

    • Empirical study

Numbers are limited. Selected candidates must attend the main conference and will benefit from the reduced Doctoral student fee for the main IMP Conference which will include midday meals for the Doctoral Consortium, but excluding accommodation costs and transport. Candidates should register as doctoral students using the main conference registration system.
